Recently, computer security incidents focus more on HTTP related world such as web application program. Understanding HTTP protocol is a key to understanding web-based security issues. This session will cover the knowledge of HTTP protocol and security issues related to web-based systems. Hands-on exercises using “Webgoat” from the OWASP project is included to understand real web application exploitation activity.

  • Shiori Sato (JPCERT/CC, JP) JP

    Shiori Sato is a liaison officer of the Global Coordination Division at JPCERT/CC - the Japan Computer Emergency Response Team. She is currently in charge of communicating with CSIRTs and other closely related organizations in the Asia Pacific region as well as other regions, in the field of CSIRT collaborative activities, trainings and seminars. She also serves as a Secretariat and Steering Committee member of APCERT – the Asia Pacific Computer Emergency Response Team.
