Tuesday — December 1st, 2009 14:00

VirusTotal was made public in 2004, and since that year has included a lot of new engines, but also some interesting features and tools. This talk speaks about some inner facts of the service infrastructure, and a lot of features that are very interesting for dealing with malware that are not usually noticed, like PE basic structure listing, usage of ssdeep fuzzy hashing or not public or not so know functions like XML formatting for the email interface. We will also speak about features that will be included in short term like URL and pcap scanning.
