Those who need to perform an audit and does not keep themselves up to date
with the latest tools, hardware, news and trends may have a bad time when
it comes to wireless.

This session will present you a proposal of wireless software and hardware
toolbox for wireless auditing with focus on low cost hardware and free
software tools - the most functionality with the least hardware possible,
a "poor man's wireless auditor kit".

    Ronaldo Castro de Vasconcellos

    Ronaldo Castro de Vasconcellos is Security Analyst at CAIS/RNP, Brazilian Academic and Research Network CSIRT. He is also a certified instructor for SANS Stay Sharp Defeating Rogue Access Points (SEC-450) and teacher at a local infosec postgrad course. In his spare time he plays with wireless, collects SANS security certs (GAWN, GCIH, SSP-DRAP), reads tons os RSS feeds and lists, listen to hours of podcasts and have maintained some personal security-related projects. He also enjoys running and pentesting his mountain bike helmet on races, weekend and night rides - so far, with successful results!
