As founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of e-Cop, Eddie Chau charts all aspects of the group company's strategic direction, including global expansion, technology and product development, innovation, technical support and sales. Chau's leadership extends to the development of key business and strategic alliances, and to guiding the company in its vision to be the leading and admired trendsetter in the critical info-security services and solutions domain.

Before founding e-Cop in 2000, Chau held senior positions in the IT sector, most recently as General Manager of IBM - Tivoli Systems (ASEAN/South Asia), and Regional Vice President, Sales and Marketing (Asia) for interBiz, Computer Associates Inc. With over 18 years of experience in business and IT, he is often called upon by the industry to speak on information security issues. Chau has also appeared on CNBC Asia and Channel News Asia, and in CIO Asia, Intelligent Enterprise, MIS Asia, Network Computing Asia and SC Magazine, to name a few.

Married with two children, Chau holds an MBA from the Newport University through distance learning and an MSc in Communication Engineering from Imperial College, London.
