NCSA
The National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA) is Thailand’s lead agency for cybersecurity. It was established under the Cybersecurity Act B.E. 2562 (2019). NCSA monitors cyber threats, protects organizations against cyber-attacks, and sets the national direction for cybersecurity. It works with government agencies, regulators and the private sector to strengthen Thailand’s ability to prevent, respond to and recover from cyber incidents.
What We Do
- Policy and Planning: We develop Thailand’s national cybersecurity policy and action plans.
- Standards: We set baseline security standards and practices for government agencies and Critical Information Infrastructure (CII) organizations.
- Coordination: We work with regulators and sector bodies so that threats are prevented and handled consistently nationwide.
- Trusted Contact Network: We maintain an official directory of designated cybersecurity contacts across government, regulatory and CII organizations. This enables fast, verified communication during incidents.
- Long-Term Resilience: We invest in research, workforce development and public awareness to build Thailand’s cyber resilience for the future.

ThaiCERT
ThaiCERT is Thailand’s National Computer Emergency Response Team and a member of FIRST, the global Forum of Incident Response and Security Teams. NCSA established ThaiCERT under Section 22 of the Cybersecurity Act as an internal agency that manages cyber incidents and monitors cyber risks.
ThaiCERT is the national hub for receiving and sharing cyber threat reports, both within Thailand and internationally. It is also the primary Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) for CII organizations. It serves government agencies, regulators, CII organizations, Sectoral CERTs, and other private organizations designated by the National Cyber Security Committee.

Incident Response
- Triage of incidents, each rated as non-critical, critical or crisis level
- Response coordination among affected organizations, regulators, Sectoral CERTs and law enforcement
- Direct help with mitigation, digital forensics and system recovery when needed
Proactive Services
- Monitoring of threat trends, plus analysis and sharing of threat intelligence
- Timely security advisories and alerts
- Vulnerability and malware assessments on request
- Support with risk evaluation and business continuity planning
Capacity Building and Partnerships
ThaiCERT builds cybersecurity awareness and skills across the organizations it serves. It also works with international partners and CERT networks to exchange information and strengthen collective defense.
