||Nkom regulates providers of post and telecommunications services in Norway. We also manage frequencies and numbering resources, investigates ex ante competition problems in the electronic communications markets and makes decisions pursuant to the Electronic Communications Act and the Norwegian Postal Services Act. Nkom also manages the duty of confidentiality in electronic communications and works on security and readiness.
EkomCERT is the security incident response team for the telecom sector, established at the Norwegian Communications Authority. EkomCERT cooperates with telecom operators and their security organizations, other sectorial response teams, national response team - NorCERT, and a number of national/international partners.
