Member Spotlight

FIRST is adding a new feature to our quarterly newsletter called the Member Spotlight.

This will be a recurring article that will recognize member contributions to the FIRST community including:

Impact: The contribution has made an impact on the development or growth of FIRST or the global Incident Response and Security community.
Influence: The contribution has supported or influenced the work of others in FIRST or their region/sector.
Innovation: The contribution has broken new ground with original thinking and creativity.

Any effort, big or small, can be submitted for consideration. There is no requirement for the length of time the nominee has participated in FIRST. Nominations can be made by any FIRST member or SIG chair/participant. The board may also solicit nominations to recognize specific efforts. Nominees can be an individual or group (team, SIG etc). Individuals cannot nominate themselves.

We plan to select one recipient per quarter but nominations can be ongoing/cumulative (you do not need to nominate the same person multiple quarters unless their contributions have changed).

FIRST POST | JAN-MAR: March 1
FIRST POST | APR-JUN: June 1
FIRST POST | JUL-SEP: September 1
FIRST POST | OCT-DEC: December 1

Nominees and the selection process shall not be shared outside the Membership Committee, Board and relevant staff and will be kept TLP:RED. Once the selection is made, the Secretariat will inform the nominee for acceptance and to assist with drafting the article for the newsletter.
