In 2016, FIRST partnered with Siemens to host a pioneering event on Cyber Threat Intelligence in Munich, Germany. The goal was to create a trusted space for stakeholders from diverse sectors—many of whom wouldn’t typically meet at other cybersecurity events—to collaborate and exchange ideas.
Building on Munich’s success, FIRST joined forces with OASIS to launch the first formal Cyber Threat Intelligence Symposium in Prague, Czech Republic, in December 2017. Since then, the event has grown significantly in scope, attendance, and influence. This year, FIRST is proud to present the program as its first official Cyber Threat Intelligence Conference.
The conference serves as a hub for experts to share insights, explore proactive threat intelligence strategies, and engage in meaningful dialogue. The format includes management-level discussions, technical sessions, and hands-on workshops. Plenary talks focus on sensitive, real-world challenges, while workshops offer interactive learning led by top security professionals in small group settings.
Though the event has evolved since its modest beginnings, its core mission remains unchanged: to unite a broad range of cybersecurity stakeholders and foster innovation through open collaboration.
