2026 FIRST Regional Symposium for Central Asia

Tashkent, Uzbekistan - February 26-27, 2026

FIRST is proud to host its inaugural Regional Symposium for Central Asia at Inha University in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. This two-day event will take place on February 26 and 27, 2026, and will feature:

• Day 1: Training Sessions
• Day 2: Plenary Talks

Attendance is free, but seating is limited. Registration applications will open for review in November 2025.

This symposium aims to bring together cybersecurity professionals from across Central Asia, along with global members of the Forum of Incident Response and Security Teams (FIRST). It will serve as a vital platform for:

• Collaboration and networking
• Knowledge exchange
• Capacity building in cybersecurity and incident response

Participants will have the opportunity to strengthen regional and international partnerships, enhance operational capabilities, and contribute to a more secure and resilient cyberspace.

We look forward to welcoming attendees from around the world as we work together to advance a cyberspace that is safe, clean, and resilient for all.

Call Program Committee - Closes September 26, 2025

We are looking for interested individuals eager to volunteer their time on the program committee! If you wish to be considered, please submit your interest using the link below. Please ensure you review the expectations documented below.

Term Duration: October 2025 - February 2026 Committee Seats Available: 5-6

General Responsibilities & Expectations Include:

• Comfortable communicating in English in both written and oral communications
• Active participation in discussion on both the mailing list and Slack channel
• Active participation in oral discussions via online conference call tooling
• Assist with soliciting submissions through industry networks
• Reviewing and grading presentations using provided timelines
