  The State Unitary Enterprise "Cybersecurity сenter" (CSEC) operates under a presidential decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan. CSEC is responsible for collecting and analyzing data on cybersecurity threats, developing recommendations to prevent unauthorized access to government information systems, and collaborating with telecom operators and law enforcement agencies. It also certifies and examines ICT products and systems, supports the development of information security policies for government organizations.

  CSEC includes the Computer Emergency Response Team (“UZCERT”), its structural department responsible for managing cybersecurity incidents. UZCERT works to reduce cyber threats in Uzbekistan's national internet segment by assisting local and foreign entities in identifying, preventing, and responding to unlawful actions targeting .UZ domain information systems and resources.
