Membership Dues

As Chair of FIRST, I want to inform you about an upcoming adjustment to the annual membership fee for full members (teams). Starting with the 2027 membership year, and for the period 2027–2029, the fee will increase from 2,800 USD to 3,000 USD per year.

This adjustment is primarily driven by the rise in inflation and cost of living in the last three years since the last adjustments. Membership dues have a direct impact on our operational costs, events and services. We have carefully evaluated this step to ensure that the total increase over this period remains below the cumulative inflation in USD of the past three years. Our goal is to preserve the financial stability of the association while continuing to deliver high‑quality services, events, and community support.

The FIRST Board is also actively exploring different membership fee model from 2030 onward. We will share more details and opportunities for feedback as this work progresses. Thank you for your continued commitment to FIRST and for your contribution to our global incident response community.
