The FIRST-APNIC TC will be held as part of the APNIC62 Conference, taking place from 8 to 10 September 2026 in Mumbai, India. This APNIC62 Conference is hosted by APNIC.

The FIRST-APNIC TC (Security Track) session is part of the larger conference and will take place on 9 September 2026 from 14:30 to 18:00.

Call for Presentations

The committee is looking for speakers that would like to present at this Technical Colloquium.

Any experience or insights related to techniques, case studies, or research related to incident response are welcome.

Some suggested topics are as follows:

• Incident response techniques
• Mitigation & Risk Management
• Criminal underground
• Denial-of-service attacks and countermeasures
• Hardware security/embedded systems security
• Network and OS security
• Digital forensics
• Intrusion and anomaly detection and prevention
• Malicious code analysis and investigation
• Threat Intelligence Sharing
• Lessons learned from breach incidents
• Practical Use of AI
• Projects & Call for collaboration

We encourage sharing of materials that are TLP:CLEAR due to the nature of the open conference. The session will also be shared with a wider audience (including non-FIRST members) via recording or live streaming for remote participants.
