The Communications Authority of Kenya (CA) has the distinct pleasure of hosting the 2025 Annual Cybersecurity Conference and Forum of Incident Response & Security Teams (FIRST) Technical Colloquium on Friday, November 21st, 2025, at the Mövenpick Hotel & Residences in Nairobi. The event, initially scheduled for October 17th, 2025, was postponed in honour of the late Rt. Hon. Raila Odinga, former Prime Minister of Kenya.
This Conference is a cornerstone of our annual October Cybersecurity Awareness Month (OCSAM) series. This year’s theme, “Building Digital Trust Through Coordinated Incident Response Frameworks,” underscores the critical need for a unified and strategic approach to cybersecurity. We believe that fostering digital trust built on reliability, transparency and resilience is essential for our nation’s continued digital growth and security.
The event will bring together a wide array of key stakeholders, including CEOs, CISOs, cybersecurity professionals, government regulators, academia, legal experts, technology partners, innovators and youth representatives. The goal is to facilitate crucial collaboration and knowledge-sharing to enhance Kenya’s collective capacity to prevent, detect and mitigate cyber threats.
