FIRST Technical Colloquium Paris - Call for Speakers (CFS) Guidelines
The cybersecurity landscape is changing rapidly, driven by sophisticated and persistent threats, as well as the exponential growth of data. Incident response teams are at the forefront of this change, with artificial intelligence and machine learning becoming important tools in their arsenal, but also new targets for threat actors.
We invite you to share your knowledge, practical examples and cutting-edge research at the FIRST Technical Colloquium in Paris. We are seeking technical presentations that transcend theoretical concepts to explore practical strategies and novel approaches to incident response.
FIRST is looking for talks on the following topics:
- Adversary TTPs: offensive use of AI in modern attacks.
- Protecting AI/ML models against cyber attacks
- AI-powered detection, response, automation and intelligence
- Forensics in cloud, SaaS and serverless environments
- Cloud-native incident response challenges
- Identity and access management in incident response
- Non-traditional ransomware handling strategies (intelligence gathering during attacker engagement, disruption of exfiltration channels, negotiation experiences)
- Proactive adversary infrastructure hunting and early detection techniques
- Next-generation threat hunting techniques
- Coordinating multi-stakeholder incident response across public and private sectors.
- Managing incidents with the Cyber Fusion Center model
- Incident response in OT/critical infrastructure
- Supply chain incident preparedness
- Relevant geopolitical cybersecurity research
- Real-world security incidents
All sessions must be 45 mins plenary with Q&A included. For your submission to be reviewed, you must provide the following information:
- Session title
- Session abstract
- Speaker name, company, job title, short bio and headshot
- TLP level
- Has this been presented before (if so, where)?
