Strategic Initiatives Amplification, Video Series Completion and LinkedIn Growth Surge

Three strategic initiatives drove this quarter's momentum: the Women of FIRST (WoF) SIG's advancement of the organization's role in cyber diplomacy through collaboration with the United Nations Cyber OEWG, the launch of the Detection Engineering & Threat Hunting Special Interest Group (SIG) chaired by leaders from Europe, APAC, and North America, and promotion of the 2025 Vulnerability Forecasting Technical Colloquium (Vuln4Cast TC). These coordinated efforts continue to position FIRST as a leader in global cybersecurity collaboration and technical innovation.

Growth Stack Media successfully completed production of the video series "Improving Security Across Nations with FIRST," publishing the final five episodes. Season 1 featured nine total spotlight segments with global representation, designed to showcase member expertise and impact. The series can be viewed on YouTube.

FIRST's social media presence continued its strong expansion, with LinkedIn showing particularly robust growth of 1,100+ new followers. Additional platform growth included 220 new subscribers on YouTube and 102 followers on X. The social campaign for the Detection Engineering & Threat Hunting SIG launch was the highest-performing, notably on LinkedIn where it garnered 545 likes and 54 reposts. The second highest-performing campaign was the “Improving Security Across Nations with FIRST” video segment spotlighting Carlos Leonardo, FIRST Board of Directors Member and Director of CSIRT-RD, which garnered 329 likes and over 3,365 views on LinkedIn.

Looking ahead, Growth Stack Media will finish 2025 strong with strategic emphasis on Cybersecurity Awareness Month, 2026 predictions, thought leadership support, and continued social media engagement.
