Call for Speakers is Open!

Announcing the call for speakers (CFS) for the FIRST Technical Colloquium (TC) in México City, Mexico, October 27-29, 2025. The CFS will close on Sept 10.

Our theme is Incident Response.

The call for speakers is now open! We invite cybersecurity professionals, researchers, and incident response teams to submit proposals for presentations at the FIRST MX 2025 Technical Colloquium in Mexico City.

Note this will be an in-person event. There will be no virtual talks - only send an abstract if you can be there in-person.

The TC will be a plenary-style conference held on October 28 and 29, 2025, in the Santa Fe area of Mexico City, Mexico. In addition, we will host an optional workshop on Monday, October 27.

The idea behind the TC is to encourage security teams and talented researchers to share their technical work in a friendly environment. We encourage anyone who has not spoken at a conference before to submit a proposal. We can help you with your submission preparation, content creation, and talk. Local talent is welcome from anywhere. We are interested in new ideas and presenters. We welcome any new ideas, techniques, case studies, or incident and threat response research.

We are interested in how teams walk through actual security incidents. Some other suggested topics are:

All talks must be 30-45 mins (including time for Q&A). For your submission to be reviewed, you must submit using the \ form link below and provide ALL of the following information:

Our goal is to have the program on the event website early October. To that end, please have all submissions completed by September 10, 2025.
