The Forum of Incident Response and Security Teams, Inc. (“FIRST”) conducts themed regional symposia throughout the year and around the world. The format is formal and includes management, technical, and hands-on components. Symposia typically provide 1-2 full-days of plenary sessions along with 1-2 full days of hands-on training. Plenary content focuses on informal discussions and presentations that are of high interest to FIRST members in those specific regions. They are more sensitive in nature and related to the day-to-day work of participants. Training is interactive and taught by leading security experts in small workgroup settings.
