Airport

Málaga Airport (IATA: AGP, ICAO: LEMG), officially Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport, is the main international airport serving the Costa Del Sol. The airport has flight connections to over 60 countries worldwide.

Bus

There are urban, intercity, and long distance buses available from the airport to dozens of destinations. To buy your ticket, go to the Terminal 3 Arrivals Hall exit, turn right and go outside into the square. You’ll encounter kiosks where you’ll be able to purchase your bus tickets. If they are closed, just purchase it on board with the driver. City buses: there is an express bus that reaches the city center in 15 minutes. City buses: Single ticket cost is €3.00 (payable in cash on the bus). Intercity buses: Single ticket cost is €9.20. Long distance buses: Single ticket cost is €20.00.

Train

RENFE C1 line links Málaga airport with the city center in about 12 minutes. Málaga Airport Train Station is a subway station which is located beneath Terminal 3. Prices range from €1 - €5.

Transportation Options

As with any large city, transport options around Málaga are abundant. Walking is possibly the best way to see the sites of Málaga. There are also plenty of places to rent bikes.

Metro

Málaga has a two-line metro system that runs from the centre to the west and south-west of the city, starting from Maria Zambrano RENFE train station. See Malaga Metro

Bus

Málaga has a very efficient local bus service network to connect you to areas around the city centre. Single bus tickets cost 1.30 euro.

Taxi

There are many taxi stations scattered throughout Málaga city, or simply hail a passing taxi from the road. The minimum taxi fare is 3.17€ in Málaga city. All Málaga taxis must accept credit cards.
