All foreign visitors entering the Dominican Republic, whether with a visa or a tourist card, must have a valid passport for the duration of their stay in the country. All citizens of countries that can legally enter the European Union, the United States of America, Canada and Great Britain may enter the Dominican Republic with a tourist card.
